Alcohol Dealer Registration Reminder

On August 10, 2005, President Bush signed into law the “Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users,” Public Law 109-59. Section 11125 of the Act permanently repealed, effective July 1, 2008, the special occupational taxes on alcohol occupations. Prior to that, on-premise alcohol beverage licensees were required to pay a $254 annual fee to the federal Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureaus (TTB). While you no longer have to pay the annual fee, the registration requirement with the TTB remains. All licensees must file TTB F 5630.5d once with the new form and once again every time there is a change in your existing registration information (e.g. change of address).
