Workers' Compensation Safety Group Distributes Dividend

We are pleased to announce that the Empire State Restaurant & Tavern Association’s Workers’ Compensation Safety Group (#554) has declared a 42.5% dividend to approximately 700 members who participate in the program. The dividend is for the September 30, 2007 to September 30, 2008 policy period and returned over $1,000,000 to the policy holders. The 42.5% dividends are in addition to the 25% upfront discount that qualified members received for this policy period. The Safety Group is underwritten by the New York State Insurance Fund and professionally managed by The Risk Management Planning Group.

The Safety Group has been in existence since 1993 and has paid a dividend every year, with an average dividend of 36 percent.
